I'm back

It's been a while between posts but I think I have mustered the energy to start again.

Life is good for us. Always chaotic. Often overwhelming. Happy. And good.

We've had some marvellous adventures these past 18months (since my last blog post). One of the greatest was our big trip to France, the UK, Italy and Sicily. A happy adventure. This photo, taken in Palermo near the very end of our trip is one of my faves. We were relaxed, happy and enjoying ourselves. Food was a highlight and in Sicily it was fabulous. We never knew if we were going to get what we'd thought we'd ordered! The people at this restaurant treated us like family, they were generous and thoughtful and very kind to us. We enjoyed it so much that we went there for dinner every night we were in Palermo.

We're super excited that we're planning our next trip - to Spain, England and Ireland in May/June next year. Lots going on in our lives, but I'll be back soon.
peace and love

I'd love to hear more about your trip Kath. It's a fantasy to go overseas with the whole fam. Maybe for my 40th in 2014. I'd love to do the European CHristmas thing. Though we are playing with the idea of buying land and building a house so might not ever go anywhere again if this happens. But that would be its own great adventure!

Hey Penni! We had a white Christmas. In Surrey with Mark's sister and family. It was beautiful. We were in Paris for my birthday - up the Eiffel Tower and a lunch cruise on the Seine. It was snowy and icy, but bloody marvellous. Such a great adventure. We were away for nearly 8 weeks. I'll post some more pics on the blog in coming days :).

Buying land and building sounds like an adventure for sure. Too scary for me though!

I hope you and your darlings are all happy and well. xxxx

Yay! You're back! I miss not being able to read blog posts from the girls. Facebook, while nice for touching base doesn't quite have the depth that a blog does. Hope to be reading more of your entries at a more regular interval. Love B x

Thanks B. I agree, it's much more interesting to feel the richness and depth of a blog post than a status update! I've not been reading blogs for a long time, but I've been trawling through a few these last couple of days and I feel much more connected. Facebook can be very superficial and real life is so much more than that. I'm off to read your blog tonight. Hope you are happy and well. xxxx
